Domestic Law

Chase Kimball has been a trial attorney since he graduated from law school in 1986. His practice has focused on a broad range of litigation; from complex business and civil disputes to domestic and personal injury litigation. Chase also enjoys working on adoption cases.

Chase has tried many domestic, contracts, and personal injury cases in Utah State Courts, Utah Federal Court, and before various administrative agencies. His extensive experience is a valuable resource in determining both substantive and procedural strategies in contested matters.

Because of his varied experience, he has a realistic and practical approach to litigation strategy, resulting in sound advice to his clients on how to approach cases for success and reasonable cost.

Chase graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Musicology from the University of Utah in 1976; a Baccalaureate Degree of Education from the University of Utah in 1980; and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah School of Law in 1986. He is admitted to practice in Utah State and Federal courts.

Chase is very involved in the local arts and music scene. He is the past VP of the “Lawyers For The Arts” committee, which provides free legal services for small arts organizations. He is also the Chairman of the Board of the Bachauer Foundation, which sponsors piano competitions, concert series, and music education including numerous piano concerts in local schools.

Chase has also been appointed to the Guardian Ad Litem program by the Utah State Courts. He is ordered by the Court to represent the children in contested custody matters, and to make sure the Court is aware of the needs of the children when making decisions about visitation and custody.
